{All Aboard…} Polar Express Train Ride | Williams, AZ

Last year on Christmas Eve I saw something on TV about the Polar Express train ride out of Williams, AZ.  I knew instantly that we *HAD* to do it.  I have a huge warm spot in my heart for children’s literature, and I must admit that the Polar Express is one of my favorite books…and...

{Our Family Public Service Announcement} Contact Burns

Four years ago today our world changed forever.  There was a blackout throughout much of the Puget Sound area in Washington…snow was on the ground, we had gone a couple days without electricity, and our gas fireplace was pretty much all we had for heat.  Our youngest was 17 months old.  She was *so good*...

June Lehmann - Reading this surfaced soooo’ many memories….Yes, our little
“Itsy Bitsy” gave it her biggest fight, and it has made her into the most precious and loving grand daughter anyone could possible wish for. She has a heart bigger than Texas, and her
feelings run very deep in all that she does to make others happy.

One note….I only wish to say that the whole experience was a testimony as to what wonderful parents little Kenzi has….not only did Kenzi grow by this, but the challenge that was brought to Michelle and Ryan was enormous…and to this day, I marvel at the strength that was given to them…..all this just shows us that when we cross these big bumps in the road, it does nothing but strengthen us and make us aware of all the blessings that have been given to us each and every day….good day….bad day.

If we are looking for any humor in this….one day, little Kenzi will find out that her “Grammy” drove up over a curb when she got the news, and grandpa had to come and reset her car on the street!!!!!! See what happens when you get bad news driving and talking on your cell phone?????? :) :)

You all are a special family….and for that I am forever grateful to have you a part of my life!

Michelle Ocampo - I love you mom…and yes, I crack up at you driving up on the curb when finding out! xoxo ;)

Heather Wulfemeyer - I had no clue your little girl went through that!!!! I can’t even imagine….so glad she is ok and completely healed. Hope you are doing well friend ;)
