{I Want Your Shoe-pinion}

Our family has committed to doing a family session once a year (sidenote: you may remember what we do with our images each year).  And we are going to have our photos taken on the dried up lakebed…I guess you could say the images will be our Fort Irwin souvenir!  After photographing so many families out there and loving every minute of the God-given beauty, it’s time for me to be on the other side of the lens with my family on the lakebed!

Well, this means it’s time to start strategizing outfits.  YES…just like all of my clients, I too go through the clothing debate of what everyone should wear.  I always recommend mom should pick her outfit first!  Yes, mom, it’s time to put yourself first!  However, I have to admit, this year I did not take my own advice.  I found the cutest outfit for my youngest as I was walking out of the Gap that was just too perfect.  I could not walk away from it!  So this year, this outfit designated the color scheme, navy and persimmon!   Here is my youngest’s outfit…

The dress and denim vest are from Gap Kids…and of course we are going to pair them with her Converse!

So here is where YOU come into the picture!  I want YOU to vote on my shoes for the session!  I don’t know…I’m pretty much a ballet flats/converse type of girl Monday-Friday.  SO…here is the outfit I will be wearing for the session…

The shirt and shorts are from Banana Republic, the necklace is Nordstrom, and the blue cardigan is from Lucky.

So now that you’ve seen some of the outfits we will be wearing, here are the shoes to choose from:

For Option #1, we have from Nordstrom, the Blooms Espadrille Slingback Sandal

Next is Option #2, we have the classic Chuck Taylor Converse.

And Option #3 is a classic TOMS shoe. TOMS is a great company, for every pair of shoes purchased, they will donate a pair to a child in need.

PLEASE CAST YOUR VOTE IN THE COMMENTS!!! I’m dying to hear your input…or if you think there should be an “Option #4” because you know the perfect shoe, please add that as well!  Thank you for taking the time to comment!

Happy Fashion Friday,
